Durfee Avenue will close to vehicular traffic at the railroad crossing north of Stephens Street to south of Walnut Avenue beginning on Monday, February 3, 2020. The road closure will allow for construction of a roadway underpass between Beverly Road and Whittier Boulevard and a new bridge to carry trains over the roadway. Upon completion, traffic congestion and potential collisions with trains will be eliminated.

Motorists are encouraged to use Rosemead Boulevard as the recommended detour route for north-south traffic. Local access to residences and businesses will be maintained. Please use caution in the vicinity of construction activities.

As the District plans for the opening of the 2020-2021 school year, we want to take a moment to hear from our families.

Project 2INSPRE is a parent and family engagement program that focuses on implementing strong family and community engagement sessions.
When: First session is on Tuesday, September 17, 2019

Classes are once a week for 12 sessions (last date is December 17, 2019)

Where: ERUSD District Resource Center

Time: 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

Childcare available.

Space is limited. Register early as this is a first come, first served opportunity.
